A French Naval Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV), Commandant L' Herminier, on Thursday called at the Nigerian Naval Dockyard in Lagos.Lt.- Com. Mathias Canone, who drove the French maritime group, told the media that the two-day visit was gone for reinforcing collaboration between the naval forces of both nations.
"We will coordinate in wellbeing practices and jumping and running of various procedures for boarding," said the meeting French naval force administrator.
Accepting the vessel and group individuals, Rear-Adm. Ferguson Bobai, Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Western Naval Command, said the visit demonstrated the current heartfelt reciprocal relationship amongst Nigeria and France.
Bobai said that the naval force would keep on improving on the solid partnership between the two nations.
"The visit is an appreciated advancement which exhibits the current reciprocal participation between the two naval forces.
