Customs Bans Importation Of Cars Through The Land Border.

The Nigerian Customs Service has placed a ban on the importation of vehicles through the land border.
 
In an announcement marked by Wale Adeniyi who is the public relation officer in the customs,uncovered that the restriction produces results from( January 1,2017).
The restriction is said to originate from President Muhammadu Buhari simply like the prohibition on the importation of rice.


Importation of vehicles into Nigeria through the land Borders have been banned by the Federal Government. The order given covers all new and utilized vehicles.
The Ban is spin-off of a Presidential Directive limiting all vehicle imports to Nigeria Sea Ports as it were. The request produces results from first January 2017.
The confinement on importation of vehicles takes after that of Rice, whose imports have been banned through the land Borders since April 2016.

Merchants of vehicles through the land outskirts are asked for to use the beauty time frame up till 31st December 2016 to clear their vehicle imports arrived in neighboring Ports.
