Customs to Hire 1,000 New Employees in First Quarter 2017(Metro Manila, Philippines)
MANILA - The Bureau of Customs (BoC) is contracting new workers to fill more than a 1,000 positions one year from now to enlarge changes in the office, its representative said Tuesday

The procuring will start in the principal quarter of 2017 "to top off positions that were left empty for a considerable length of time, as an aftereffect of legitimization approaches and stop on contracting of the past organizations," said Neil Anthony Estrella, acting representative for requirement and knowledge operations at Customs.
"An expected 2,500 intrigued candidates presented their application for more than 1,000 empty positions posted by the Bureau a month ago. This incorporates opening for both new contract and workers up to for advancement. The Bureau of Customs workers who passed their applications and are fit the bill for higher advancements, are all up for advancement this month," Estrella said.
He included that recently enrolled or advanced workers "are required to redesign the spoiled picture of the office."
President Rodrigo Duterte prior named Customs as one of government's "most degenerate" offices.
