In an offer to ensure licensed innovation and lift imagination, the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) at the end of the week appropriated N275 million worth of pilfered works captured at the seaports.
The Director-General of NCC, Afam Ezekude, while showing the
three holders of books of scriptures, books and minimal circles, told
journalists that the commission grabbed an aggregate of N8.3 billion worth of
pilfered merchandise from 2011 to 2016. He said the merchandise were being
foreign from China.
He additionally cautioned Nigerians, who enjoy theft to halt
from bringing in pilfered functions as the commission and the Nigerian Customs
Service are resolved to cinch down on such individuals, grab their merchandise
and arraign them.
He gave this stern cautioning at the commission's Lagos
office at Costain, where the seized pilfered Bibles and Christian written works
were given over to the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN).

deliver an innovative work which is stolen and repeated by privateers," he
stated, while encouraging privateers to cease from the criminal demonstration
