Nigeria Custom Service(Seme Command) Intercepted 550 cartons of Frozen Poultry Products

The Seme Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reported the seizure of around 550 cartons of poultry solidified items in a volvo truck.

The seized poultry items with a duty paid of N6,048,680.00 were captured through solid insight sharing. The data watch group drove by CSC Ozah, Mathew. O., revealed that the capture was affected inside Mosafejo area when the said truck was turning out from the rivulets on January 4, 2016.

In an announcement, Seme Customs Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tapyen Selechang, said the imported solidified poultry items were passed on in a blue Volvo truck with an orange head (Reg No. FKJ 359 XJ), including that the truck compartment utilized was all around developed with the end goal of disguise as it is physically observed purge on locating within.

"Two suspects captured regarding the seized truck containing the solidified poultry items incorporate Mr. Morufu Salau of Mowo Ekoga street (Driver) and Mr. Saliu Adaramaja of Mowo Ekoga site (Conductor)," he said.

Remarking on the seizure, the Customs Area Controller, Mr. David Dimka, charged the watch officers to continue the great work to uphold zero resistance on pirating.

He said the suspects will be arraigned in the official courtroom to serve as hindrance to the individuals who have picked sneaking as the main method for employment.
