CG Hammed Ali- Arms And Ammunitions are being Smurgled Throuagh The Land Border

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) yesterday said it chose to boycott vehicle importation through land fringes since it found that corrupt components were utilizing it as an imitation to surge the nation with arms and ammo.


Its Comptroller-General, Col. Hammed Ali (rtd) who talked in Abuja amid the current year's International Customs Day with: Data Analysis for Effective Border Management as its subject, said the boycott would help support the economy.

He said Customes would like to create amongst N700billion and N900 billion as income for the Federal Government this year.

Ali said the administration produced N898 billion from the N937 billion target set for a year ago.

He stated: "We are taking a gander at between N700 billion and N900 billion. The monetary allowance has not been concluded. Until the monetary allowance is concluded, we will get the last endorsement. We never had N1trillion, it was N937 billion. We got N898 billion.

Talking further on the boycott, he said it would help fix the security of the nation.
