Maritime Workers Shut Ports Operations

The activity which went on for around three hour included individuals from the four branches of MWUN, drove by their Presidents in the port developments in Lagos, Warri, Calabar and Onne in Rivers State.
 In Lagos, the dissenters walked from First Gate of Tin-Can Island Port to the express, then to Port and Terminal Multi-Services Limited, PTML, before coming back to Tin-Can First Gate, declaring that they have trust in their authority. 

Tending to individuals after the challenge, President of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, branch, Mr. Adeleke Sani, who talked for the benefit of the four branches, Dockworkers, Shipping and Seafarers, said that the administration style of the President-General of MWUN, Mr. Nted Emmanuel, has guaranteed the relative peace delighted in the most recent eight years in the port business.

As indicated by him: "It is deserving of note that there was no modern activity or disharmony amid his residency in the ports.

Under his administration, neighborhood and abroad training were executed and no less than 6,000 individuals appreciated nearby preparing, while more than 180 individuals were prepared in abroad, for example, South Africa, Dubai and in Maritime Institute of Technology, USA. Not just that, improved state of administration and welfare bundle for our individuals were arranged and gotten for the Dockworkers.
