Customs will Block Agencies over Address Issue-NCS



The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has promised to block some license agencies whose name are not properly registered or having issue on address not found in the 2017 ongoing inspection exercise.



The influenced clearing agents should visit the Controller Inspection office at the Customs headquarters office from now till August 11, with the present evidence of existence of agency’s office accommodation.

The Comptroller Inspection, Abdulahi I.A., said inability to report between the time given will lead to a license blockage.

The NCS noticed that an aggregate number of 61 agencies with 46 in Zone "A" and 15 in Zone "B" have addresses which can't be found.
