Sokoto Area Command of the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS), received the total sum of N2.4 billion within January, 2016 and March, 2017.
Acting comptroller Mr Nasiru Ahmed, received the information in Sokoto from Mr Madugu the formal comptroller while handling over affairs of the command.
Formal command comptroller Mr Madugu disclosed that the command achieved N2.09 billion within January to December 2016, ahead their target for the year which is N1.7 billion.
Over N314.87 million was achieved within January and March 2017, He included.
He explained, using the resources from the headquarter, they could be able to achieve many things, even the seizures under review also increased.

The new comptroller addressed the officers and the men in the command not to connive with the smugglers, advising to boost their effort on the revenue profile of the command.
