A standard security measure has been introduced to prevent all form of smuggling activities in the vicinity, said Kabir.
The area command has gave an effective order to re-position officers to there various posts in Tungan Madugu, Kibira and Agbara Rofiya in Borgu Local Government area of Niger, the order was also sent to border officers in Chikanda,Yashikira ,Kuso Boso in Barutem Local Government area of Kwara State.
We are ready for battle against smuggling in Niger through our strategies and plans to execute the said smugglers.
With the assistance of the youth in the community to be vigilant and inform our border officer for any suspicious smuggling act, he said.
