Customs Reshuffles 4,072 Senior Officers


The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reshuffled 4,072 senior officers to commands across the four zones of the service, approved by C\G Ahmeed Ali.

The reshuffle circular was issued on Tuesday 25th April 2017 in Lagos by Mrs Talatu Isa, the Acting Assistant Comptroller-General, Human Resources Department of Customs.
Starting from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs I to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs were reshuffled, she said.

Mrs Talatu Isa said 2,699 Assistant Superintendents of Customs, 1, 227 Assistant Superintendents of Customs, 11 and 441 Chief Superintendents of Customs were affected by the deployment.

373 Deputy Superintendents and 332 Superintendents of Customs officers where affected due to the deployment, she said.

She included that the deployment was a routine exercise in alignment with the three-point agenda of the Customs C/G, Hameed Ali, which focuses on the reform, revenue and reorganization.
 

Officials said the reshuffle was aimed at upholding and improving service delivery.
