"Meanwhile, shippers of permissible types of fish are relied upon to get permit or licence, before such importation into the nation.

"We have scanners that are working yet the majority of the scanners are lacking for operations,'' Jibrin said.

He said that the charge had opened correspondence with Agriculture and Plant Quarantine Service and the National Agency for Foods, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), in the soul of cooperation.

Jibrin said that the command had zero resistance for sneaking and false declaration in accordance with the approach of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Retired Col. Hameed Ali.

He said that the charge would proceed to reveal and stop any endeavor at breaking the law as respects imports and fares exchanges through the command.

The controller, be that as it may, prompted partners relating with Customs administration to be decent "as no stone will be left unturned in upholding government policy and directories''
